TGC at Sacconnesset strongly supports the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund
The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund's purpose is to help deserving young men and women who have worked at golf courses in Massachusetts obtain a college education. It provides need-based undergraduate scholarships which are renewable and can be worth up to $10,000 - $40,000 (or more) for four years. The Ouimet Fund is the largest independent scholarship fund in New England.
TGC at Sacconnesset Golf Professionals Trevor England, Kyle Keis, Bobby McCarthy were joined by caddies Andrew Keating, Mike Ryan, and Dan Lincoln in the Club's first annual Francis Ouimet Golf Marathon.
Together, they completed 322 holes of golf in 9.5 hours raising a pledge total of $11,900 for the Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund! TGC at Sacconnesset Members generously donated to the cause by either donating a set amount or donating a dollar amount for each holed played. Well done!
Donations sent to TGC of Sacconnesset's Director of Golf, Doug Errhalt, will be accepted until mid-September.
